About This Website

Podgorica Car Rental (podgoricacarrental.com) is an affiliate website that connects travellers with car rental services in and around Podgorica, Montenegro. We are not a car rental company, we work with a local booking partner to provide real-time availability and booking services.

Booking & Rental Terms

All car rental bookings made through our website are processed and fulfilled by our booking partner. When you complete a booking, you enter into a rental agreement directly with the vehicle supplier, not with Podgorica Car Rental.

The rental terms, including cancellation policies, insurance coverage, age requirements, and payment conditions, are set by the vehicle supplier and displayed during the booking process. We recommend reading these terms carefully before confirming any booking.

Our Role

We provide:

  • A search interface to browse available rental vehicles
  • Destination and travel information about Podgorica and the Podgorica region
  • Customer support to help with enquiries before booking

We do not:

  • Own, operate, or maintain any rental vehicles
  • Process payments or handle refunds
  • Set rental prices, insurance terms, or cancellation policies

Pricing

Prices displayed on our website are provided in real-time by our booking partner and are subject to change. The final price is confirmed at the time of booking. All prices include VAT and mandatory insurance unless otherwise stated.

Website Content

We make every effort to ensure that information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, travel information, driving regulations, and border crossing requirements can change. We recommend verifying critical details (especially border crossing documents and driving rules) with official sources before your trip.

Limitation of Liability

Podgorica Car Rental acts as an intermediary and is not liable for:

  • The condition or availability of rental vehicles
  • Actions or omissions by rental suppliers
  • Losses arising from border crossing issues or documentation problems
  • Changes to prices after booking confirmation

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, design, and graphics, is owned by Podgorica Car Rental unless otherwise credited. Stock photography is used under licence.

Frequently asked questions

The practical points behind the terms, including who your rental contract is actually with.

With the rental company. We list cars supplied by local rental firms in Montenegro and handle the booking side, but the rental agreement itself is between you and that supplier and is signed when you collect the car. That agreement, along with the supplier's own terms, governs the vehicle, the cover and the deposit.

For presenting the cars and conditions accurately, for passing your booking to the supplier correctly, and for helping you sort out problems with the booking itself. What happens with the vehicle, the cover, the fuel policy and the deposit is the supplier's side of the arrangement. If something has gone wrong with the booking, email us and we will take it up.

Email us with your booking reference and say clearly what you want cancelled or changed. Cancellation conditions and any deadline depend on the supplier and the rate you chose, and they are shown on your booking, so check there first. Do not assume a change is confirmed until you have it in writing.

Payment for the rental is taken by the supplier at pickup, in cash or by card. A credit card is not required, which is unusual and useful if you only carry a debit card. The deposit is usually taken in cash, and the amount depends on the vehicle and the supplier.

Your driving licence, your ID or passport, and your booking confirmation. Any additional requirement, such as how long you must have held the licence or a minimum driver age, is set by the supplier and is shown on your booking. Read those conditions before you travel, because the supplier can refuse the car if they are not met.

Anything involving the vehicle, damage, the deposit or a charge added at pickup is between you and the supplier, and it is best raised with them at the time rather than after you have flown home. If the problem is with the booking we sent through, email us with your reference and the details. We contact you by email, as that is the only support channel this site offers.
